Italian Art Deco dresser of the first half of the last century. One can recognize his Italian style, Paolo Buffa, Vittorio Dassi, Osvaldo Borsani. Precious materials that have been used to compose it, from parchment leather to walnut to brass. Its shape is rectangular and very squared.
The chest of drawers consists of a top covered in parchment leather, while its sides are veneered in walnut wood. On the front the dresser has a wood carved frame all around, and six drawers; three on the right side and three on the left side. These do not have a flat design but are slightly convex, (form of "saponetta", its also covered in parchment leather. Its access is allowed by six brass handles, positioned in the middle of the drawer, one per drawer. The drawers shape is very particular. The chest of drawers has four wooden legs covered with a brass plate. These have a round design and go to tighten from the top to the bottom. As you can see from the photo, in addition to the design of the parchment leather on the top, you should also noted the process of working of the frame around the drawers.
The restoration, like every piece of our shop, has been done respecting the original, maintaining its original state value. The dresser has been well restored, both in the wooden part and on the parchment leather. As regards the parchment you can notice its slight yellowing, due to time and use. For each piece, before the departure, a revision is redone, to make sure it arrives in excellent condition.
