MidCentury Squared Travertine and Brass Console Table, 2020

Console with a linear and stylish design, a beautiful sculpture also due to the union of two completely different materials such as travertine and brass.

The console consists of a smooth travertine top with moldings along the perimeter of the same and an underlying band that enriches and completes the console. Under the top there is a base; its shape is that of a parallelepiped also bordered with brass moldings. The console is very solid and can be disassembled in two parts, the top and the base. Note the grain of the travertine and its very very elegant patina. Travertine is a poor marble but with this finish and this type of molding it can become a very elegant material.  Misure ( 150 x 40, H 95 ). Inches ( 59 x 16, H 37 ).
