Art Deco Mahogany Wood and Geometric Green Velvet Chairs, 1920
Elegant, sinuous and unique in their kind, this Exotic group of chairs of orientalist current, have been brought back in luster of their old splendor. Contrast of the mahogany wood with the geometric upholstery green.
The chairs are all in mahogany, and have a very articulated structure. Rectangular seat, which tightens towards the backrest. The front legs, what gives character to the chair, have a saber design with a small inlay on the front at the top. The backrest is worked, and has a heart-shaped curve in the upper part. The seat was covered with a green fabric in geometric velvet; while on the backrest, a smooth green velvet was combined. Misure Cm ( 45 x 42, H 95/49 ). Inches ( 18 x 16, H 37/19 ).
The chair has been restored respecting the canons of the period of construction of this. The expert craftsman of our interior workshop has been able to perfectly capture the type of restoration in the wooden part, maintaining the state but perfectly re-polishing the mahogany wood, and making sure that the upholstery is ready for many years to come. For each piece, before the departure, a revision is redone, to make sure it arrives in excellent condition.
