The structure of the wall mirror is made of wood, polished in black shellac, where the brass plates are then housed; plates that are cast, and are positioned around the perimeter of the frame. Note that above the black lacquered wooden frame there is a brass counter frame, and above this the cast brass plates. Wear consistent with age and use.
