Oval mirror in bamboo and Indian cane binders designed by the Dutch designer Olaf Von Bohr for the Bonacina company in the 1960s. Elegant and versatile, the mirror has a very light and linear design. A union between architect and company that in the 60s and 70s led to the creation of real iconic pieces.
The genius of this design mirror lies in the versatility and potential of using bamboo and how it has been wisely intertwined. The mirror is composed of a frame formed by two bamboo turns joined by a dense weave of Indian cane and by the rods arranged radially with respect to the fulcrum of the mirror. Note the "x" weaves that make the frame of a particular genius. Misure (70, H 160) Inches ( 27, H 63 ).
