A classic of Murano glassmaking, the sphere remains a status symbol in Murano. This particular one is a true work of art from the Murano furnaces; transparent in color with internal blue decorations. A highly complex process, performed only in the Murano furnaces. The Murano glassworks create an undeniably timeless design, simple yet elegant. This technique is used to create both solid and complex forms. Large masses of incandescent glass are shaped directly with tools and manipulated to achieve the desired shape, as in the case of sculptures with many spheres of varying sizes. Price includes packaging and wooden crate.
