Murano Glass and Carrara Marble White Floor Lamp, 1970
Very original floor lamp in Murano glass, Carrara marble and brass. Use of unusual materials for a one-of-a-kind floor lamp. The brass stands out above all this white marble and glass.
The floor lamp is made up of a series of overlapping pieces. Starting from the bottom, a shaded white Murano glass cone is positioned above the brass base. Above this is a Carrara marble cylinder dug inside to make it lighter; still above this is another Murano glass cone upside down with respect to the other. The three pieces are interspersed with polished brass finishes. The bulbs are inside both the low and the high glass cone. Note the nuance that the glass has, which goes from transparent to white.
