Pia Guidetti Crippa for Luci Glass and Chrome Italian Floor Lamp, 1970
Very particular floor lamp by the designer Pia Crippa Guidetti, rigor and style imbue this 70s floor lamp.
The lamp is composed of a large central stem in chromed steel that starts from a large plate as a base. Above to accommodate the large white glass sphere, there is a goblet also in chromed steel. In the center of the stem there is the switch to turn the lamp on and off. Inside the sphere, easily removable, there are three light connections. Cm ( dia 46, H 168). Inches (dia 18, H66).
About the designer: Pia Crippa graduated in scenography at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in 1967 comes into contact with that design challenge that will go under the name of “design”.
